Admissions Welcome Center
The new Admissions Welcome Center, which opened in early 2020, serves as the front door to the university for prospective students and their families. Located on the ground floor of the Perry-Castañeda Library in the heart of campus, this 9,000 square foot space showcases the impact of a University of Texas at Austin educational experience and offers students a window into campus life.
Visiting the Center
The Admissions Welcome Center is offering limited services during Spring 2021 in order to comply with social distancing guidelines.
Recently admitted high school seniors may register for an on-campus walking tour. Advance registration is required and same-day reservations are not available. Prospective students who are not recently admitted high school seniors may take advantage of our many live virtual sessions and tours or our Look Around Virtual Tour.
Students interested in meeting with an admissions counselor should register for an appointment in advance.
Walk-In counseling services and same-day counseling or tour appointments are not available. For more information, call 512-475-7399 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
