Application Integrity

The University of Texas at Austin upholds integrity and honesty as values that define the Longhorn community. We expect applicants to the University to submit honest, accurate and original information in their applications. Each application is reviewed holistically, and we expect the application to accurately reflect the individual who submits it.

If it is discovered that an applicant has submitted false information, their application, admission or enrollment status may be revoked.

The Office of Admissions works closely with students, schools and the community to provide guidance throughout the admissions process. This collaboration ensures that all students, regardless of their background, have access to the necessary resources and support to complete their applications. We advise students to be cautious of individuals or organizations that claim to guarantee admission to the University.
