Student-led walking tours of the Forty Acres, The University of Texas at Austin’s historic campus, are available to the general public free of charge.
A two-mile route takes visitors inside a classroom, through the LEED Gold-certified Student Activity Center and past the iconic Tower on a path that traverses its picturesque South Mall, with views of the Texas State Capitol.
Tours originate in the Visitor Center, located on the second floor of Walter Webb Hall (WWH), 405 W. 25th St. Advance registration is required.
Self-pay parking is available in the San Antonio Garage, at the corner of 25th and San Antonio streets.
Hours and Tour Times
The Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.
Tours for the general public take place most Wednesday afternoons.

The Visitor Center is closed on university holidays. Upcoming closures and cancellations include:
