You’ve earned admission to The University of Texas at Austin. Congratulations! Make sure you’ve accepted your offer of admission (and satisfied your enrollment deposit if applicable), registered for Orientation, and applied for housing.

Schedule a Virtual Session

We’ll bring the UT campus to you! Join us for one of our upcoming virtual sessions to learn more about the ins and outs of life as a Longhorn. Virtual sessions for your college, school or program cover specific topics like academics and research, interdisciplinary opportunities, resources and student success. You supply the questions and we’ll provide the answers!

Now that you’re admitted, it doesn’t mean your relationship with your Admissions counselor is over. Your friendly Longhorn counselor continues to be available by phone or email and welcomes the opportunity to help you. Contact your counselor for one-on-one assistance today!

  • Stay Connected

    MyUT is UT Austin's online student portal. You'll use MyUT for everything from class registration to paying bills. Log in to check your customized Texas ’24 homepage now!

  • Key Dates

    Enrolling freshmen should keep in mind the following dates:

    • May 1: deadline to accept your offer of admission and, if applicable, satisfy your enrollment deposit
    • July 1: deadline to submit your on-campus housing preferences August 1: Housing application opens Registration for each orientation session closes 10 days prior to the start of each session. You will need to go to the registration page here (LINK) to see which sessions still have space available.
  • Parents

    Congratulations on your student earning the title of Longhorn! As a Longhorn, your student joins in a legacy of excellence Texas Parents provides resources and information to help your parents and family. Also, consider encouraging them to register for Family Orientation, a separate day-long program that introduces them to the many ways the university can support you!
