Tours for the General Public
Student-led walking tours of the Forty Acres, The University of Texas at Austin’s historic campus, are available to the general public free of charge.
A two-mile route takes visitors inside a classroom, through the LEED Gold-certified Student Activity Center and past the iconic Tower on a path that traverses its picturesque South Mall, with views of the Texas State Capitol.
Tours originate in the Visitor Center, located on the second floor of Walter Webb Hall (WWH), 405 W. 25th St. Advance registration is required.
Self-pay parking is available in the San Antonio Garage, at the corner of 25th and San Antonio streets.
Hours and Tour Times
The Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tours for the general public are currently unavailable.

The Visitor Center is closed on university holidays.

Bringing a group? The Visitor Center offers student-led walking tours of campus for groups of 10–100 visitors.
To schedule a group tour please contact the Group Visit Coordinator by emailing email@example.com. This is the only method that will notify the coordinator you are interested in a group visit.
