Current CAP Students
If you are enrolled in the Coordinated Admission Program (CAP) during the current academic year, you’re well on your way to being a Longhorn.
If you successfully complete the CAP requirements during your freshman year, here’s what you need to do to guarantee you’re admitted to UT Austin after the spring semester:
Complete the required hours
Complete a minimum of 30 semester credit hours of transferable coursework specified by the UT System school that you choose to attend.
Fulfill the math requirement
Enroll in and complete at least one mathematics course beyond Math 301, also known as College Algebra. (Even those who test out of or receive credit for a math course beyond Math 301 before enrolling in CAP must complete a math course beyond 301 as part of their CAP studies.)
Earn a 3.2+ GPA
Earn at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average on the coursework that you complete.
