Applying for Admission Checklist
If you were previously an undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin and are ready to return after an interruption of at least one fall or spring semester, you may be eligible to apply for readmission as a former student.
Notice for Students Who Withdrew Due to Military Service:
A student who withdraws from the university in order to perform active military service will be readmitted for any semester or summer session that begins within a year after the student’s release from active service. You are not required to apply for readmission or pay an application fee, but must be eligible to register for classes the semester or summer session for which readmission is requested. If you are planning to return to the university, complete and submit the Notification of Intent to Re-Enroll.
If it has been longer than a year after a student’s release from active service, the student must complete a readmission application.

Like other Texas public universities, we use the ApplyTexas application. Use it to report your complete academic record.
Your application fee
Pay the non-refundable $75 application fee when you submit your ApplyTexas application. Fee waivers are available.
Your college transcript(s)
Send us official transcript(s) documenting all coursework you have attempted at any college or university since leaving the university.
Track your Status
Monitor MyStatus for information about the status of your application.
